J: This idea of starting a travel blog first crept into our mind when L was archiving our photos and realised how much traveling we've been embarking in the recent years due to the course of our work.

 

To me, My Travel Kakis pens my memorable travel moments, both business and leisure. Life is amazing if we make time to slow down our pace to appreciate our loved ones and the little things around us.

L: The hardest part of travelling or taking a vacation is the itinerary planning, especially for travel destinations with multiple connecting flights or to places with language barrier. I often finding myself jumping around so many travel blog sites or making calls on hotel bookings, where to stay, what to do, where to eat, and most importantly How To Go via Public Transport - on the fact that I don’t drive and J doesn't like to drive overseas.

Hence, together, we have decided to start this travel guide blog for our friends and for those who want practical information beyond the usual "where to go" and "what to do".
